Maker of the object : S. Fisher, 188, The Strand, London 1881. There are many other interesting items in the collection, again I will add all items in the list below, it is worth pointing out some vey very unusual items here such as, there is an original Vesta with strike plate contains what appears to be the original Blue topped wooden matches, with its companion a, Ink well original to the case. Secondly, there are a pair of lovely Sterling Silver writing pen and propelling pencil with an unusual twisted handle design, with original feather nib and propelling pencil with original pencil lead. Pair of Writing Implements an Nibbed pen and a Propelling Pencil, both with original Nib and Pencil Lead, marked Sterling Silver S. Mordan & OS Both having lovely Twisted design with rounded tops - Both 5 1/2 inches x 3/8 inch. Pair of Sterling Silver Hallmarked salt and pepper shakers, Both 3 x 1 1/4 inches, both fully hallmarked to tops and bottom pieces with Hallmarks as follows Makers Mark - 88 WH&L - Hallmark - Lion Passant- Leopard Head- T in shield (1874 London). Glass fluted bottle 3 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches- Makers mark, worn - Hallmark - Lion Passant - 1 (1 of the 4 London Assay offices)- Journeyman's mark (illegible). Glass Fluted bottle 3 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches - Makers mark, worn- Hallmark - Lion Passant - 1.

(1 of the 4 London Assay offices). Journeyman's mark (Illegible) some pink powder remains in this bottle, probably cosmetic powder of some sort, or wig dust. Glass fluted bottle 4 x 2 5/8 inches - Makers mark, worn - Hallmark - Lion Passant - 1.

Journeyman's mark (illegible) Some remnants in this bottle, looks like some form of solid polish or wax. Glass fluted bottle 3 1/4 x 1 1/2 inches - Makers mar - R.

D & Co Hallmark - Lion Passant - n in cartouche - Leopard Head _ (London mark for 1888)(Possibly basterdised as incorrect sequence). Bottle contains 2 no hair clips or grips.

Pair of Glass fluted bottles - 6 x 1 1/2 inches - Makers mark (worn illegible) Hallmark - Lion Passant - 1. Leopard Head - Date unknown.

One bottle contains remnants of liquid, possibly a perfume. Glass fluted bottle 6 5/8 x 1 /14 - Makers mark (worn, illegible) Hallmark - Anchor - Lion Passant - n - (1912 Birmingham). Glass bottle 6 x 2 3/4 inches - Makers mark - no marks but tested as silver to top. Probably a drinking flask as there is cork within the screw top, ag unknown. Silver flask 6 3/4 x 1 1/2 inches Makers marks (on the bottom of this piece) W. Hallmark - Lion Passant - Leopard head - m (London mark for 1907). Silver flask 5 x 1 1/2 inches - Makers marks. (on the bottom of this piece) W. All weighing in at 415 grams. Leather writing pad with blotting papers and containing the 2 silver pen and pencil set, with clasp, needs some attention. This forms a tripod enabling it to stand on its own. With square lifting handles, probably stainless steel containing leather pouches for some of the silver items plus 2 sleeves which hold the Vesta and Ink Well. Shaving strop in leather case marked' Fishers Sharkleen Strop' possibly a sharkskin substitute for sharpening a cut throat razor.

Sleeve containing stainless steel shoe horn. Twisted glass drinking flask with pewter cup and screw down lid with cork insert. Red leather box containing insert for jewellery and 3 no shirt buttons. Red leather box containing some sewing items - catch damaged. So there you are, all items held in a Red leather lined case with Leather case, including hardly worn leather handle and 2no catches with reinforced corners, no key.
