Antique All Sterling Silver Hip Flask with Gilded Cup-Holds 4 Ounces c1900

An antique all sterling silver liquor flask. The piece is marked with a W in a wreath and STERLING 1335 , the maker's mark for Woodside Sterling Co. Which was in business from 1896 to the mid 1920's. This liquor flask has a very sleek look. The handy removable drinking cup also serves as a cap to protect the top of the flask, and perhaps disguise it.

The inside of the cup is gilded to protect the silver from the alcohol. The screw-on cap has a cork underneath to seal it. The flask is about 4 3/4 inches tall by 3 inches wide by 1 inch thick and weighs about 119.2 grams empty. It can hold 4 ounces of your favorite beverage and does not leak.
