This sterling silver unweighted stepped foot bowl measures almost 6 1/2" wide by 2 1/2" high. Great condition for an antique - view pictures.

It weighs 115 gms on my postal scale and is hallmarked with pattern name and model number Y92. IMPRESSIVE CENTERPIECE SIZED - ALL STERLING BOWL - Serve with gilded age elegance! Interior has typical use scratches / dings and overall this shows some regular use - it is an antique - but it is in very good condition. Sits without wobbles, no repairs nor removals of monos in the past. This is not an inexpensive plated bowl - this is a substantial 100% SOLID HEAVY STERLING SILVER - fully hallmarked.

Never personalized with any monogram, no inscription or modification (which we're told is rare and damages the value significantly for most collectors). Hallmarked as shown in pictures, with clear STERLING mark etc. This bowl might not be for everyone, it is much too grand and possibly too valuable for many households.

We thought long about whether we should simply keep this locked up as investment in precious metals, but have decided that someone would surely use it as my mother did. This is a bowl to cherish and use. This is an heirloom quality collection item. Collector's items, yet eminently appropriate for contemporary use.
