Unique Masonic George III 1799 silver vinaigrette all seeing eye
1799 Georgian silver Masonic vinaigrette with gold gilt interior all seeing eye. This George III silver vinaigrette is highly unusual, the front has an. Eye with rays emanating from around the shape, the reverse similarly has a point in the centre from which rays are also emanating. The all seeing eye being aprolific symbol of masonry & this piece obviously made for a gents by the simple grill interior. It also has the natural sponge possibly also be original. Measurements: 3.8 cms (1.5 inches) long, 2.5 cms wide & 1.5cms deep. Hallmarks:Birmingham assay office letter small b & the makers mark for C & B being Cocks & Betteridge.
